SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the text messaging programs operated by Wellness Watch Foundation, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), an Indiana nonprofit organization. By enrolling in or interacting with any of our SMS programs, you agree to these Terms.
1. Program Name and Description
Wellness Watch Foundation operates the following SMS-based wellness monitoring programs:
Daily Wellness Check
An automated daily SMS check-in for individuals living independently. Each day at a scheduled time, you receive a brief text message asking you to confirm you are well. If you do not respond within the configured window, your designated emergency contact is automatically notified.
TextForTwo
A daily SMS connection program that pairs two participants. Each day at an agreed time, Person A receives a prompt asking whether to send a daily check-in to Person B. If Person A confirms, Person B receives a pre-set message and acknowledges receipt, after which Person A receives a confirmation.
By opting in, you consent to receive automated SMS messages from Wellness Watch Foundation related to the program in which you are enrolled. These may include daily wellness prompts, partner check-in messages, confirmation messages, alert notifications to designated contacts, and service-related notifications.
2. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies by program and participant configuration:
- Daily Wellness Check: Typically one prompt per day at your scheduled check-in time. Additional messages may be sent for retries, confirmations, or alerts to designated contacts.
- TextForTwo: Typically one prompt per day at your scheduled time, plus a confirmation message and any acknowledgment exchanges with your paired partner.
Recurring messages will continue at this frequency until you opt out.
3. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Wellness Watch Foundation does not charge a fee to enroll in or use our SMS programs. However, your mobile carrier may charge standard message and data rates based on your wireless plan. Please consult your mobile carrier for details on your specific plan's rates.

5. Opt-Out Instructions
To Stop Messages
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message from our service.
After you send STOP, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt back in. You may also request to be unenrolled by emailing us at [email protected].
If you are enrolled in Daily Wellness Check, your designated emergency contact may be notified that you have unenrolled, so that they understand why automated alerts will no longer be sent on your behalf.
6. Carrier Liability Disclaimer
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages is not guaranteed and may be affected by network conditions, carrier filtering, device settings, or other factors outside our control.
7. Eligibility and Consent
Our SMS programs are intended for adults aged 18 and older, or for individuals enrolled with the consent and assistance of an authorized adult caregiver. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in through our enrollment process, you:
- Confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that an authorized adult has enrolled you;
- Confirm that the mobile number provided belongs to you or that you are authorized to enroll it;
- Consent to receive automated SMS messages from Wellness Watch Foundation as described above; and
- Agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
8. Privacy
Information you provide in connection with our SMS programs is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or trade your mobile phone number or opt-in information to any third party for marketing purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing is limited to what is necessary to deliver the service (for example, sending messages through our SMS provider and notifying your designated emergency contact).
9. Supported Carriers
Our SMS programs are compatible with major U.S. mobile carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and their respective affiliates and resellers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify active participants by SMS or email. Your continued participation in our SMS programs after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
